My "Tweeted" Resolutions for 2012 |

As many of you know, I'm a big fan of Twitter and frequently have it running in the background as I work. I'll dive in from time-to-time to catch up on the news, see what folks are saying, make a snarky comment or two. In the waning days of 2011 I tweeted 10 of my resolutions, mainly to help me compile a list. That list is now posted as a daily reminder in my office and part of Leesburg Magazine as a record of my (mental) travels. Hopefully, the fruition of some of these will show up as articles during 2012. The tweets are copied below. You'll note some Twitter shorthand in places and as Twitter is best when conversational, one tweet is a response to another. I pray that each and every one of you have a happy and prosperous 2012! Many of us have had a few tough years of sledding and I think it's time for a turnaround. (In 2010 the Library of Congress thought the Twitterverse was of enough import that they began archiving each and every tweet, which as of this writing was about 140 million tweets a day. This repository of 21st century "stream-of-conciousness" should make for incredibly fascinating or incredibly dull research in the 22nd century.) |
